FAQ's and what to do to get ready for the delivery.

First of all let's cover what you, the customer, can do to get ready for us coming.

In advance go out and purchase 3 ½ gallons of bottled water for every batch of mix you plan on making. The customer is responsible for providing their own liquor. You should purchase between 3-4 liters of tequila based on how strong you want to make the margaritas. We recommend purchasing any gold tequila because it all starts to taste the same once frozen. If desired the customer can also add in ½ to 1 liter of triple sec as well, and in this case use only 3 liters of liquor. Place the bottled water in the refrigerator and the liquor in the freezer. When you are ready to mix the ingredients and start the machine you will give your machine a head start by already having the ingredients close to 32 degrees. This will cut the time between when you start the machine and start serving frozen beverages by a lot.

The following list of FAQ should take care of any questions you may have. If you still have one after reading make sure to ask us or click here.

Q - Do I need ice for the machine?

A - No, you do not need ice for the machine. The machine will freeze the mix all on its own once you plug it into an outlet and switch it on. No ice, no CO2, none of that, its that simple.

Q- What come with the rental price? (call for pricing)

A- You get the following:

  • The machine
  • One batch of any flavored mix you want - makes approx. 80 eight ounce drinks
  • 50 cups to get you started (more available upon request)
  • Margarita Salt
  • Our custom margarita stand and skirting for the stand
  • Delivery and Pick up

Q - What kind of a power outlet do I need?

A - You must have a dedicated 20 amp circuit. If you have any other appliances on the same circuit we recommend discontinued use of them, or find another circuit. You must use the 10 and 12 gauge extension cords we have provided, any others will not work.
Damage will occur if you use a smaller extension cord.

Q - How long does the first batch take?

A- Typically on a normal day, outside, it will take between 40-50 minutes. This time can be adjusted based on a lot of factors. If you have already refrigerated the water and liquor (lowering their temperature to near freezing) you can cut this time in half if not more. If the water is warm or room temperature and it is an exceptionally hot day it will take longer. Once you're done with mixing your first batch and are planning on a second batch make sure you refrigerate those liquids as well. To keep the party going with no downtime between batches, just refill the hopper when the Low Mix Light comes on and should have not down time between batches.

Q - Can I make more than Margaritas with this machine?

A - You can make any type of frozen drink with this machine. They are great for kids parties, churches, fund raisers, etc. Just leave the alcohol out for a delicious slushies. The machine can also make daiquiris, rum punch, hard lemonade, and many other flavors.
